Run through the Turing machine as a deliberate deflation: “How does the machine ascertain it is in state A?” has the same grammar as “How do I know I am in pain?” — so the classic puzzles are purely verbal, and mind–body “identity” is a theoretical identification like water is H₂O, licensed by a whole system, not one experiment.
